Scam websites are turning up more and more, and they’ve grown clever. Their good name was simply hijacked to lend the scam a veneer of credibility.
If a website’s stated address, phone number, or business details don’t clearly match the store you’re actually buying from, treat that as a serious warning.

What You Risk Losing
It’s easy to think the worst case is a slightly disappointing purchase. The reality is often worse.
You might pay and receive nothing at all. You might receive a cheap counterfeit that looks like the real thing until it fails on the highway or when you need it most. And even if something does arrive, you’re left with no genuine warranty, no manufacturer support, and no one to call when it goes wrong. The money you thought you’d saved evaporates, along with any peace of mind that came with it.
