Our new Clearview Towing Mirrors for the Ranger Super Duty offer seamless integration, preserving all factory functions, including the indispensable 360-Degree Camera. No error codes, no lost features – just seamless, factory-approved integration. This means zero compromise on technology and total confidence on the road with the unbeatable visibility of Clearview Towing Mirrors.

How does the NB1 classification impact on towing mirrors for the Ford Super Duty?

The Ford Ranger Super Duty vehicles are in a different Vehicle Category to the Ford Rangers. These Super Duty models have a GVM of 4500kg and are classified as NB1 medium goods vehicles.

Flat Mirror Glass:
This NB Vehicle Category has resulted in the requirement for a flat mirror glass on the Driver’s side mirror to ensure compliance with ADR 14/02.
Whilst this has had no impact on our Next Gen Towing Mirrors, special Clearview Compact Towing Mirrors have been added to our range which include a convex mirror on the passenger side and a flat mirror on the Driver’s side mirror.

Indicators:
If a mandatory CAT6 Turn Signal is fitted to the guard, as is the case for all Ford Super Duty vehicles, any turn signal fitted in the mirror must be disabled. Consequently the Turn Signal within the Clearview Towing Mirrors will not function on all Ford Super Duty vehicles.

Ford Super Duty (2022 - Current) Towing Mirrors

Available Features Include:

360° Camera Provision

360 degree parking system allowing for extra vision of all angles of the vehicle. Located below the mirror head. Camera must be removed from the OEM mirror and installed into your new Clearview Towing Mirrors. Only available for vehicles with pre-existing 360 camera feature.

Blind Spot Monitoring

Ultrasonic or radar sensors located on the side and rear of vehicle body. Small indication light on the mirror glass alerts you when another vehicle is in your blind spot. Audible alert (beeping) or an induced vibration or light shake of the steering wheel will occur if the turn signal is flashing.

Indicators

Heated Glass

Demists and defogs glass on the mirror in frosty, icy weather, working off the same de-mist system as the vehicle. Frost and ice will melt away from glass when turned on. Only available for vehicles with pre-existing heated glass feature.

OAT Sensor

An Outside Ambient Temperature (OAT) sensor can be found in some mirrors to monitor air temperature. This information is transmitted to the car’s computer, which controls the heating and cooling based on your preferred interior temperature. *Options may vary depending on make, model and year of vehicle.

Power Fold

Clearview Mirrors will electrically fold towards the body of the vehicle when you lock the vehicle, and electrically return to the driving position when you start the vehicle. Only available for vehicles with pre-existing power fold feature.

Electric Operating Glass

Clearview Mirrors support vertical and horizontal adjustment of the mirror glass to suit your preferred viewing angles. Next Gen models allow for the larger top mirror to be electrically adjusted. The bottom mirror is manually adjusted.

Next Gen

The Next Gen’s dual mirror design provides the best of both worlds; a large flat top mirror helps with reversing into parking spaces or aligning a hitch with a trailer, and the smaller convex mirror provides a better understanding of what’s happening around the vehicle.

Compact

Clearview Compact Towing Mirrors are just like a factory mirror with a large single convex mirror on the passenger side, and a large single flat mirror on the driver’s side, with the additional advantage of the extra visibility that Clearview’s towing mirror extension provides.
