Power-Fold – A quick press of the Power-Fold button brings your Clearview Tow Mirrors in towards the vehicle, while another press returns them to position. The Power-Fold function matches your OE capability, allowing control through the key fob, touch-handle panel, interior button, and certain automatic actions depending on the vehicle. Only suitable for vehicles with factory power-fold. Vehicle-specific variations apply.
Indicators/Turn Signal – Lights located on the side of the Mirror that will flash to signal your intentions to swap lanes or turn. Our Tow Mirrors include a clear indicator lens with an amber LED light. Indicators in all manufactured mirrors come with a CAT5 indicator as standard.
Electric Mirror Glass Adjustment – Electrical Vertical and Horizontal adjustments to suit your preferred driving angles. Clearview supports this feature throughout our range. Single Mirror models can offer electric adjustments of the mirror. The double mirror models can only offer top glass mirror electric adjustments, the lower bottom glass is a manual adjustment.
Heat – A feature that demists and defogs your mirror glass when it’s frosty and icy. Operating off the same de-misting system as your vehicle.
GPS – Integrates seamlessly with the factory infotainment system for those vehicles with satellite navigation systems, provides accurate location for your travels
AM/FM – Enables the factory infotainment system to stream your favourite AM or FM stations.
All these features are only available for those vehicles that contain these pre-existing features such as GPS, AM/FM, Electric Mirror Glass Adjustment, Indicators/Turn Signal and Power-fold. The Mirror alone cannot add new functionality to the vehicle. If you have changed the factory infotainment system, consult your local sound and vision provider, or an authorised Clearview dealer to discuss compatibility.
The Next Gen Mirrors feature a dual mirror setup that combines a flat upper mirror with a convex lower mirror to maximise visibility.

Spare Part Option – Convex Mirror Glass
The top mirror is supplied with a flat 1:1 glass as standard for accurate distance reflection. A convex top mirror glass is available as a separate spare part, allowing replacement if required, however it is not included as part of the standard mirror build or configuration.

The telescopic two-stage extension system offers three towing positions, allowing drivers to adjust the mirror reach to suit different towing setups.

Flat vs Convex Mirror Functionality
The upper flat mirror (1:1 ratio) delivers an exact reflection for precise reversing and accurate distance judgement.
The lower convex mirror provides a wider viewing angle, making objects appear smaller and further away. This helps reduce blind spots and improves overall awareness of vehicles and surroundings.

Volkswagen Amarok 2H Towing Mirrors are available in Black or a Raw finish suitable for colour-coding.
Raw finishes can be painted by a third-party automotive paint shop at an additional cost.
Chrome finishes are not available for 2H Amarok models (2009–2022) due to potential impact on radio reception. This does not apply to Volkswagen Amarok NF models (Dec 2022 onwards).
