SERPENTINE FALLS (W.A)
Planning on exploring Waterfalls? Today we cover the Serpentine Falls in WA, located near the Serpentine National Park, this glorious Waterfall amongst the Serpentine River, the adventure doesn’t just stop with a visit to the Waterfall, prepare some food and enjoy a picnic, with some fresh air! Don’t forget to bring your walking shoes and top off the day with a bush walk along many walking trails, such as the Baldwins Bluff Trail, Stacey’s Loop and the Kitty’s Gorge.
BEAUCHAMP FALLS (VIC)
The Beauchamps Falls located amongst the Otways in Victoria. Wear your walking shoes for the three-kilometre walking track leading to the waterfall, which leads to an amazing view of the water crashing down amongst the blackwood trees, and forest ferns. Plan ahead and stay at the Beauchamp falls campground to maximise serenity!
RUSSELL FALLS (TAS)
The Russell Falls in Tasmania. A short, flat walk of about 1.4 km that is perfect for everyone, including wheelchair users! Watch as two spectacular waterfalls with a combined drop height of 34–58 metres descend a mountain covered in ferns and moss. The day won’t have to end with just a waterfall, explore a day excursion around Mount Field which is available if you want to see as much as you can!
FLORENCE FALLS (N.T)
Our fourth waterfall highlight is the Florence Falls, located in the Litchfield Park N.T. A quick stroll from the car park, to a jaw dropping scenic waterfall. Watch the water plunge down from up high, falling down into the waterhole below. Dropping from around 9.8 – 15 metres! Stairs are available if you plan on having a refreshing swim amongst the clear water! There are also hiking tracks if you wish to hike, barbeque facilities for the perfect lunch, and even a picnic area! Camping Grounds are available, if you wish to have some R&R!
BELMORE FALLS (NSW)
The Belmore falls is located in Wildes Meadow NSW. Approximately a 1.8km walk from the car park, enjoy the water tranquilising down the cliff, dropping from approximately 253 – 427 ft, with 3 different drops, and 2 great view points! Reminisce the natural of wattle trees, banksia and flowers.
