The Next Gen’s dual mirror design provides the best of both worlds; a large flat top mirror helps with reversing into parking spaces or aligning a hitch with a trailer, and the smaller convex mirror provides a better understanding of what’s happening around the vehicle.
Large top mirror 1:1 ratio. This large, flat mirror provides a narrower field of view, reflecting true distance for reversing. It provides an exact reflection of what’s happening behind you.
The Smaller bottom mirror. This slightly curved mirror makes objects appear further away than they are. The convex mirror reduces the objects that it reflects, allowing the driver to have a much wider field view and diminishing blind spots. This mirror provides a better understanding of what’s happening around the vehicle.
Due to their double mirror design, Next Gen’s are recommended for all your towing needs.
The OE Ford Turn Signals are disabled and added on front RH & LH fenders to comply with ADR 13/00 and ADR 6/00 on all LWB (long wheelbase) of the RHD F-150. It does not apply to short wheelbase vehicles as the ADR does not require them to have Cat 6 side direction indicators. Consequently, the Turn Signal within the Towing Mirrors will not function on all F-150 LWB vehicles.
