A Clearer View for the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series!
Towing Mirrors suitable for the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series include the Next Gen and Compact Towing Mirrors.
All standard functionality of the original factory LC300 mirror will carry through to the Clearview Extendable Mirrors, except for the auto-dimming function as there is a patent in place for it.
LC300 GX available features include Power Fold, electric operating glass & integrated LED indicators.
LC300 GXL available features include Auto tilting, blind spot monitoring, heated glass, Power Fold, electric operating glass & integrated LED indicators. Puddle Lights have also been included as a thoughtful aftermarket addition to these mirrors.

Importance of our patented, secondary mount design
Our unique, patented, secondary mount design for the 300 Series towing mirrors has accounted for the LC300’s lighter-weight Aluminium door skin and inadequate strength of the existing internal bracketry to safely mount extendable towing mirrors to.
Our complete redesign of the LandCruiser 300 Series side mirror mounting position allowed us to identify the optimum location for the new Towing Mirrors to be installed to provide the best visibility when in the extended towing position.
We needed to move the standard mounting point forward to make it easier to see out of while towing. If we’d simply reinforced the existing mounting point and installed our mirrors there, the driver would be constantly leaning backwards and turning their head to see anything out of the extended towing mirrors.
About the LC300
The Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series was introduced in 2023 boasting a 3.3L twin-turbo V6 Diesel engine and great technology within, the 300 Series can take you around smoothly and safely.
Available in GX, GXL, VX, Sahara and GR Sport models which include an advanced level of technology incorporated into their side mirrors. These features can include 360-degree Cameras, Power Fold, Memory, Auto-Tilting, Blindspot Monitoring Systems and Puddle Lamps.
The Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series is one of the most iconic 4X4s in Australia. Loved by Aussie 4×4 enthusiasts of all ages, the legendary Farm Truck is a capable, heavy-duty workhorse destined to remain a highly sought-after classic!
With an interior often described as uncomplicated, the LC70’s standard side mirrors are also humble. Thankfully, Clearview Accessories offers an extensive range of options to personalise and upgrade the LandCruiser 70 Series mirrors!
The manual adjustment, black mirrors are available in Clearview’s new Next Gen and Compact Towing Mirror designs, with pricing remaining at $785 for the Compact and $835 for the Next Gen. This option “mirrors” the existing functionality in the vehicle, in a better-looking, more stable and robust mirror design which offers the additional advantage of the extra visibility that Clearview’s towing mirror extension provides.
For those wanting additional features in their towing mirrors, Clearview offers a range of upgrades from adding electric mirror adjustment (+ $150), to adding indicators (+$100) to the mirrors, right through to adding Power Fold (+$670) functionality! These additions obviously add more cost to the mirrors’ initial purchase price, but they also add additional costs around hard wiring the functionality into the vehicle. Clearview does provide the wiring harnesses and switches with our mirrors to help reduce installation time.
All 70 Series Towing Mirrors are available in Chrome for an additional cost of $50 per set of mirrors.
All Clearview Next Gen and Compact Towing Mirrors for the LC70 are also available in a “Raw” finish for colour-coding at an additional cost of $40 per set. Raw finishes can be painted to any colour by a third-party automotive paint shop at an additional cost.
GVM upgrades are hugely popular with the LandCruiser 70 Series and Clearview also offers a CAT 6 LED Indicator option in the Next Gen and Compact Towing Mirrors. These indicators comply with ADR 6/00 Category 6, a requirement for some GVM upgrade vehicles. All relevant Clearview Next Gen and Compact Towing Mirrors are available to order with a CAT6 indicator if required, at an additional cost of $95 per set.

70 Series Towing Mirror Bases
The existing positions of the mirror mounting holes on the doors of the LC79 vary as the standard mirrors are installed after the vehicle lands in Australia. When the factory mirror is removed, it leaves two holes in the side of the door panel. Our Clearview Towing Mirror base mounts onto these same holes, but due to their varying positions on individual vehicles, our mounting holes are elongated to allow for the variance. This can also mean that the overall position of the mirror on the door can be different by vehicle.
Toyota LandCruiser Troop Carriers are designed with vent windows (triangular windows). Clearview Towing Mirrors can be installed onto Troop Carriers, but due to the mounting position of the mirrors overlapping the glass, the vent windows will no longer be operational. New mounting holes will need to be drilled in the side of the door panels to support the mirror base.

The last of the V8 engines, with outstanding off-road capability, this full-time four-wheel drive is the perfect all-rounder!
The LC200 is available in models such as the GX, GXL, Sahara, Sahara Horizon and VX.

Clearview Power Boards are fitted under the vehicle, running along the length of the vehicle between the wheel arches on both the driver and passenger sides.
Clearview® Power Boards are triggered by the vehicle’s door sensor. When the door opens, the Power Board is activated and automatically lowers up to 300mm (depending on model) to a convenient stepping height. When the door closes, the Power Board will automatically retract back to the body of the vehicle.
